John Kramer’s terrible revenge: a new trailer for the horror movie Saw X has been released

Adastra Cinema has presented a new trailer for Saw X, a horror film that continues the series of the most successful horror films.

The film takes place between the events shown in Saw (2004) and Saw II (2005). A terminally ill John Kramer travels to Mexico to receive a risky experimental treatment for cancer. However, it turns out that the “treatment” is a scam to deceive the most vulnerable people. Finding a new target, Kramer goes back to work, using his sophisticated death traps against the crooks.

In the tenth installment of the cult franchise, its main star Tobin Bell returned to his starring role, playing John Kramer, also known as the Constructor, for the first time since 2017. Shawnee Smith reprised her role as Amanda Young, his assistant and associate. The stars of the franchise were joined by Sunneve Makodu Lund, Stephen Brand and Michael Beach. The cast also includes Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto and Octavio Hinojosa.

The film is directed by Kevin Groiter, who edited the first films in the series, which are the most successful among fans and critics. He also directed the later films in the franchise (Saw VI, Saw 3D).

Greuter promises that this story will focus on the Constructor, who is the center of the Saw universe, and also teases a return to the franchise’s harsher tone.

“It may not be the simplicity of Saw I, but it’s close. Saw X is an emotional journey that you go on with John Kramer, not a massacre that you experience from the perspective of the victims. Obviously, there will be people who won’t like it, but I think the movie will appeal to people who are not just fans of gore. But don’t worry, gore fans: we are willing to bet that you will be more than satisfied too,” said the director.
