Netflix has released the first teaser of the crime drama Pain Hustlers starring Hollywood stars Emily Blunt and Chris Evans.
The movie centers on a woman named Lisa Drake, who never finished high school and therefore hasn’t been able to find a decent job. Most of all, she dreams of a better life for her daughter, and to get closer to this, she takes a job at a pharmaceutical company that is close to collapse in a shopping center in Central Florida. Thanks to her strong character, Lisa saves the company and succeeds, but soon finds herself at the center of a deadly criminal conspiracy.
In addition to Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place, Oppenheimer, Jungle Cruise) and Chris Evans (The Avengers franchise, Knives Out, The Gray Man), the film also stars such well-known actors as Andy Garcia (Intouchables, The Godfather Part III, Ocean’s Eleven) and Catherine O’Gara (Beetlejuice, Home Alone, A Series of Unfortunate Events).
The film was directed by David Yates, best known for his work on the Harry Potter films, who directed the final four films in the franchise, as well as three installments of its spin-off Fantastic Beasts.
The world premiere of the film will take place on September 11 at the Toronto International Film Festival. However, the film will be available to a wider audience on Netflix only on October 27, 2023, and a week before that it will be released in a limited release in the United States.
